Quarter Horses for Mountain Riding and Performing

We are David and Jane Van Berkum and we are dedicated to raising quality horses here in the mountains of Southern Colorado. We live in a house that is part of an indoor arena. Therefore, we are able to ride and rope year round at home as well as traveling. Our horses are hearty, surefooted, and tough. THey are extremely versatile, cowy and athletic. We breed mostly arena performance horses, but all are exposed to extensive mountain trail riding, which makes them savvy and well rounded.Most of our stock is from world champion backgrounds with a whole lot of color thrown in. We are also part of a family-owned and operated guest ranch, which keeps us busy in the summer months, and provides plenty of opportunity to ride and train good horses.
